rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. Breakfast with a free buffet is quite acceptable. We had dinner at the same hotel and food part was quite good. decoration of the dining room is good.
The house wine, given the proximity of the good wines of the nearby Somontano, is the worst. For good tasters I do not recommend this one, it is worth spending a little more and ask for a brand name bottle, there are very good ones and they are not expensive . A detail that we did not like was that when entering the dining room we were told not to have room to attend to us because the dining room was reserved for a group, luckily a diner who occupied a table, warned us that he was already leaving and we occupied his. The legs of the separation screens that are badly aligned with the columns of the dining room are a real danger and because of this my wife suffered a fall that fortunately did not have consequences but that could have been serious, we are grateful for the attention of the waitresses who attended us effectively at breakfast.

The location of the property was particularly good and excellent, right in the center of town. It was also very close to Somport tunnel as well as Jaca center. - Our double room was newly decorated with a particularly nice view over the town. - Extras like climate control and a balcony were appreciated.

Very friendly & helpful staff - no water in pool at time of our visit [mid June]. Lovely location with plenty of bars / cafes nearby. Would definately stay again.

The hotel has had a renovation since we were last there. The reception, common areas and rooms (floor, decoration, part of the bathroom...) have been improved.
The temperature of the room, without being cold, is not enough (Jaca in the middle of winter!). There are controls for the air conditioning but they are not enabled. Before the reform, perhaps, in the rooms it was too hot, but they have gone away the hand with the saving and now they are not comfortable. During the checkout, the reception staff was very uncooperative: there was my wife and my eight year old son -I was loading the car with ski material- with three suitcases and it was her turn to put them in a locker room; no intention of helping.. We have been to the Gran Hotel de Jaca several times (leaving positive reviews) but it is very likely that we will not return.

Great location right next to the old town. Good wifi.
Breakfast was only good in the weekends and got progressively worse as the week progressed. Not nearly enough parking and carparks too small.
